Guisi Clearwater Resort, Guimaras Province

         Welcome to Guisi Clearwater Resort!

Guisi Clearwater Resort entrance
It was the first time for all of us to be here. We arrived around 11 noon at the resort. Their main pathway from the highway going down to the resort was a struggle for us. The small concrete paths are not that safe due to the stones and soils which are scattered everywhere. I observed from there that it was not properly maintained. However, we still looked forward for an exciting summer vacation.

Mitra's Ranch and Balay Inato Pension, Puerto Princesa

MITRA'S RANCH

It was our first time to be in Palawan last October, 2008. My colleagues and I had our official business trip with an industry in the province and we visited one of Palawan's best destinations in Puerto Princesa which was just a detour on the last day. We visited first the Mitra's Ranch in Sta. Monica Heights. On the left shows the main entrance to the ranch of the late Senator Ramon Mitra. It is currently the residence of his son. The ranch has a great view of Palawan.

SEAFDEC Marine Reserves, Guimaras

fingerlings outside seafdec
We visited SEAFDEC Marine Reserves in Brgy. Igang, Guimaras last April, 2012. While island hopping in Guimaras, we stopped by SEAFDEC to visit the area and as well as to buy fresh fish for lunch. While busy taking pictures, I noticed there were fingerlings outside the cages. There are several types of fish that are grown within the marine reserve. These fingerlings shown at the right were attracted to the net cages because of the food fed to the fish inside.

Palawan Crocodile Farm and Conservation Center

I was one of the lucky four who got the chance to go to Palawan for an official business trip last October, 2008. Well, to make the story short our last day in Palawan must be a stress- free day! Everyone agreed on that. We visited one of the famous tourist destinations which is the Palawan Crocodile Farm and Conservation Center located at Puerto Princesa..

Ruins, Lighthouses and Manggahan Festival only in Guimaras

After a two-day vacation in Guimaras last April, 2012, our itinerary was to witness the annual Manggahan festival of the province. However, some of my friends urged us to climb up to the lighthouses nearby.
Going up was quite tough. There is a concrete staircase which is literally broken after maybe six steps. Unfortunately, it is connected with a wooden stairs which of course very unstable and some of the steps can easily be removed because the nails are already corroded. Then it is again connected with another concrete staircase all the way up to the ruins and the lighthouses.

Plazuela de Iloilo, Iloilo City

Hi everyone! Friends and I were so excited to stay overnight at Iloilo City from a summer vacation in Guimaras last April, 2012. We planned to go to Plazuela de iloilo and Smallville because it was the first time for most of us. Well, honestly it was my second time to be in Plazuela de Iloilo and first time in Smallville. But before that, we need to visit the San Jose Church, an Agustinian Church because it was Sunday.

At Plazuela de Iloilo, everyone were impressed by its main entrance or should I say lobby to the point that we forgot we were hungry and it was time for dinner. There was a nice and well-lighted fountain that seemed to welcome visitors positioned at the lobby.

Olongapo City Museum and Marikit Park

Last October 2011, me and my college friends visited the museum of Olongapo City situated at  East Tapinac. We planned to see the museum for 30 minutes only, but because the staff was very friendly and accommodating we decided to roam around the museum.
The statue of the city's legendary chieftain named Apo is placed right at the entrance of the museum. According to the legend, he was beheaded by other natives, his head was placed on top of a bamboo pole.

At the right side facing the statue of Apo is a model ship designed according to the style of a Spanish vessel used by early Spaniards to visit the Philippines.

There is a painting right next to the big vessel which imparts the arrival of the first Spaniards at the place of Chieftain Apo.

Rest and Recreation at Fiesta Cove, Sipalay

My colleagues and I had our rest and recreation at Sipalay City, Negros Occidental last summer of 2010. Everyone was excited to go to a newly heard beach resort located in the south of the Negros province. We left early in the morning and all things were ready and intact inside the bus. As usual, you are going to see the photos that me and boyfriend took from the start of the trip down to our destination. So, buckle up and hope you will enjoy the ride!

Lalimar Beach Resort, Negros Oriental

Engineers' Teambuilding

My colleagues and I scheduled our teambuilding at Lalimar Beach Resort, La Libertad Negros Oriental last May, 2011. Well, for me my intentions were not just to work, but an opportunity to take some photos of the resort which I honestly haven't heard of.

This Lenten Season..

Hi google bloggers!!
Here I am again. I apologize I was not able to upload new photos of mine taken from other places I have visited, of course some areas here in the Philippines. I always wanted to update you right after my visits, however, due to some work requirements I had to put the blogging thing to be second on my priority list. This Lenten Season of 2012, our non-working holiday started Wednesday afternoon, April 4 until April 6. We attended Mass to remember the sufferings and sacrifices of our Savior Jesus Christ who died for our sins, and we even observed the fasting practice on every good friday. Luckily, we have a long weekend because April 9 is "Araw ng Kagitingan", a regular national holiday. This time, I thought of making my scrapbook which is all about my one-week tour around Metro Manila with the help of a friend. I made a couple of pages while watching my favorite TV series "The Walking Dead". Honestly, I can feel the nerve and my hair standing whenever zombies  attack any of the human beings in the movie, that's why I need do my scrapbook while watching..hahaha

Anyway, I have edited some of my old blogs, such as my Dumaguete visit and the Forest Park at Negros Occidental. I added some pictures which I saved from my other computers, since I have three (3) laptops. Sadly, the two laptops were stolen from the car while ordering food in a restaurant. So, I just thought of uploading all photos that I have.

It is already 12:25 am now, so I guess it is time for me to get some sleep. I will upload more photos soon, PROMISE. See you guys later.

God bless and take care!!
